Head Professional - James Single

James Single is the head PGA Professional at Port Macquarie Golf Club.

James commenced working in the Port Macquarie Pro Shop in 2011 and became Head Professional in 2013. James is a Husband to Nicole and Father of two young boys Lucas (4) and Spencer (1). At 33 years of age James is passionate about growing the game of golf through junior development clinics and school programs along with some great Ladies beginner programs. James has spent all of his life in regional areas and prides himself on friendly and efficient service.

With a desire for coaching and 5 PGA Professionals working in the Port Macquarie Pro Shop, lessons are available 7 days a week. With a well stocked Pro Shop James and his team at the Port Macquarie Pro Shop will be happy to help get you in to some new golf equipment or organise a game for yourself and your friends at the beautiful Port Macquarie Golf Club. Gordon McCallum
PGA Professional

Gordon qualified as a P.G.A. Professional in 1986. After various success on the Tartan Tour, Challenge Tour and a brief stint on the European Tour, he started his teaching career in Germany before returning to his homeland, Scotland, in 1992 to become Head Professional at Aberdour G.C.  In 2003 Gordon married Chantale and they both moved to Küsten G.C., Germany where they built up the top Pro shop and Teaching Academy in this area.

In 2014 Gordon joined the Port Macquarie Pro Shop Team. As a member of the Australian PGA with advanced qualifications in Coaching, Small Business and Game Development he is bringing his experience in all aspects of the profession to the Club.  He is a key component in the development of the Ladies Pro Shop - Golf Ladies First, based at Port Macquarie GC with Chantale since October 2015.

 

Chantale McCallum
PGA Professional

Chantale was born in Sydney before moving in 1992 to Germany to begin her career as a P.G.A. Professional. After qualifying as a "Fully Qualified Diploma" Golf Professional she became the youngest qualifier for the Ladies European Tour at the age of 19 and went on to perform at this level with numerous success stories for the next few years.

In 2003 Chantale moved to a club position at Küsten G.C., Germany where she developed her passion for teaching golf at all levels from beginners to Junior Girls State squads.

After starting at Port Macquarie Pro Shop Chantale realised the need to develop Golf for Women starting with various ladies clinics, coaching and ultimately an exciting Ladies Pro Shop and Online Shop. (www.golfladiesfirst.com.au)
