COVID-19 Restrictions Update – 4th September 2020
To protect our members, guests, staff and local community we must inform our patrons that we are no longer permitting entry into our Clubhouse, Golf Course and Pro Shop to those who have been to the following COVID 'active areas' in the past 14 days or those who have been in or are in contact with someone who has.
Also not permitted is anyone with COVID ‘active area’ identification.
Active areas include:
- Greater Sydney Region including Campbelltown, Airds, Minto and above the Hawkesbury River to Woy Woy
- Batemans Bay
We ask that you self-isolate When returning from any of these areas for 14 days before visiting Port Macquarie Golf Club. If you are experiencing any symptoms please get yourself tested.
We have obtained our information from the NSW Health Services and the NSW Government as of today 4th September 2020. We will be reviewing these sites daily and as circumstances change we will update our COVID-19 policy accordingly.
This health directive from NSW Chief Health Officer is in place for six weeks from August 19th to 30th September
- Cease activities that result in the mixing of participants and staff from different regions, for example by ceasing regional or state championships or competitions. Examples of inter-regional mixing include activities which bring together participants (including spectators and officials) from organisations in different regions of Sydney, from a rural area into a metro area and vice versa, and movement between different rural areas.
This Health directive is in place to help stop the spread of COVID with people travelling from Sydney to our area.
